Fakir Mohan University is located in Balasore, Odisha. It has two campuses, present is functioning in Vyasa Vihar and new campus in which PG programs are fully computer based at Nuapadhi has already start functioning. More than 92 colleges are affiliated with the university, with more than 15,000 UG and PG students. The University offers various courses at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research levels. The motive of this university to promote quality Education and world-class infrastructure. It offers UG, PG, and M.Phil courses in a variety of subjects and offers many other courses. Fakir Mohan University is the only institute in India to offer a post-graduate course in ballistics.

Admission procedure 2026-27 has been started. Interested Candidates who are willing to seek admission in this university first check the complete guidelines given in the prospectus that is available on the official website of the University. First candidates can download the application form. After filling the correct inforMAtion, attach self-attested documents, paste passport size photo , and required application fee in the form of DD send to the University office. The university has a separate student and academic block. HDFC Bank, Aditi Technologies and Aspiring Minds are the top recruiters.
The university offers courses i.e. BA, MA, B.Sc, M.Sc, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, BSW, MSW, B.LIS, M.LIS, M.Phil, and Ph.D. Apart from Such courses the university also offers Self- financing courses in these streams such as; Bio-Science, Bio-technology, Environmental Sciences, Population Studies, Applied Physics & Ballistics, Language & Literature, Education, Geography, Business Management, and Commerce.
Students with disability of 40% or more, then for them there is a relaxation from the course fee of Rs 12500 per semester.
The University will not refund any fees under any circumstances.
