Dr. Y.S.R Horticultural University Admission 2026: The Dr. YSR Horticultural University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses in Horticulture through its affiliated institutes. These courses include B.Sc, M.Sc, and Ph.D. programs, which are offered at two institutes: the YSR Horticulture College & Research Institute in Venkataramannagudem and the Horticulture College & Research Institute in Anantharajupet. Additionally, the College of Horticulture offers M.Sc and Ph.D. programs.

Dr. YSR Horticultural University Eligibility Criteria.
Here, the admissions are not only based on the merits of the previous qualifying exam but also on the basis of the entrance exam and the councelling taken by the University.
Hence for the admissions in B.Sc. ( Hons.) candidates have to clear their 10+2 examination from a recognized Board.
Moreover, for the admissions in Diploma courses candidates need to pass in their class with atleast 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Therefore, for the M.Sc. degree candidates are required to clear their Graduation degree from any recognized University with any relevant subject.
Similarly, for the admissions in PhD courses candidates are required to clear their Master’s degree from any recognized University on any relevant subject. The program is both full time and part time. Candidates who want to apply for full time program have to attend regular classes and also they will give a monthly scholarship. But those candidates are opt for part time are not eligible for monthly scholarship. Candidates have to passed an entrance test and personal interview conducted by the university.
