Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Courses and Fee Structure 2026-27: Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University is established in 1926 i.e. in the pre-independence era. It began undergraduate and postgraduate programs in 1946 in the diverse streams of Art and Science. DSPMU offers around 39 courses in different fields, such as Humanities, Science and Social Sciences. In addition, the university also offers a variety of Certificates, Diplomas and Vocational Courses along with Doctoral Degrees. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses shall be based on a merit list drawn up on the basis of the marks obtained in the subjects concerned by Intermediate. Admission to Vocational/Self-financing courses is based on the entrance examination conducted by the department concerned. In order to apply for such courses, it is mandatory for the candidate to appear for the entrance test.
