Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University is a state university which was established in the year 2008 and located in Lucknow, U.P. There are various streams in which numerous courses offered in special education i.e. Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Mental Retardation, Multiple Disabilities & Rehabilitation, Sign Languages. Apart from these another academic courses i.e. Arts, Science, Commerce & MAnagement, Law, Computer Science & Technology, and Music & Fine Arts.
D.Ed, B.Ed, M.Ed, BPO, BSLP, PDCD, are the course for differently-abled students. For Admission in UG courses; a candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam and admission shall be based on Written test and Interview.
For PG courses; Any degree with 55% of marks in aggregate from a recognized university and admission will be based same as for UG courses. Application procedure in totally based on online mode. Please provide all the correct details in the application form. Admissions for 2020-21 have started online on the official website of the university. Applicants are required to register and fill in the online application form. The application fee must also be deposited online.
The fees for B. Tech. course at Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University is INR 102000 for the first year. The duration of this course will be 4 years. Candidates must have passed class 12th from any recognised board. The fees for MBA course is INR 111000 for the first year.
DSMNRU has eight faculties offering programs in the fields of arts and music, commerce, management, computer science, information technology, law, science and special education.
