Devangere University is one of the youngest affiliating types of universities in Karnataka. The University has 112 colleges affiliated under it, along with one constituent college and one autonomous college that offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Diploma Programmes in various specialization serving to the educational needs of more than 60000 students. It also includes 20 post graduate departments of studies and research on the main campus that offers 22 post graduate programmes and diploma course. It includes four faculties that deals in specific areas i.e. Arts, Science & Technology, Commerce & Management and Education.
