The Chitkara University has released the application form for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year 2026. The university conducts the admission process annually for multiple courses, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields. It is a private university with campuses located in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

For the academic session 2026–27, Chitakara University has started the admission process. The applicants have to apply either online or offline. The admission is given on the basis of an entrance exam taken at the national level. Apart from the entrance exam, the applicants also have to give an interview. The university has been formed under the Chitkara University Act by the Punjab state legislature. The courses offered by the university include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. 

The university provides a clean, safe, and ragging-free atmosphere to the students. The university takes very strict action against those students who are found guilty of ragging. The university formed a separate committee for handling the cases of ragging.  Smoking and alcohol are strictly banned in the university.

Chitkara University Application Process:

The applicants can apply for various courses through different modes like online and offline.

1. Offline mode- Applicants can buy forms from the administration office.

• Applicants have to go to the center and collect the form.
• Then  have to fill in all the required details and attach the required documents as well as stick a recent passport size photograph. Along with this application form charged INR 1100 has to be paid.

2. Download the form and submit at the university office- 

• Applicants have to download the application form from the official web portal of the university.
• After downloading the form the applicants have to fill in the required details and  attach the required documents as well as stick a recent passport size photograph. Along with this application form charged INR 1100 has to be paid through a demand draft in favor of Chitkara University payable at Chandigarh.

3. Applicants can apply online-

• Applicants have to create an account to register. It can be done via Facebook or Google Account.
• After registering the applicants have to choose a program to apply.
• The applicants have to then fill in personal details.
• Then applicants have to fill in educational details also.
• After the documents have to be uploaded by the applicants.
• If required applicants can also upload the work experience.
• The applicants also have to fill in other information.
• The application fees of INR 1100 has to be paid online.

Fee refund rules of the Chitkara University are:

• 100% fees is refunded before the notified date of admission.
• 80% fees is refunded in case of not more than 15 days of last date of admission.

• 0% fees is refunded in case of more than 30 days of admission.
