The Fees Structure is designed by the University is so simple and differentiated into semester wise. The courses offered are divided into different streams. A candidate who wants to take admission in this university first has to meet with the eligibility criteria. He/She should have passed 10+2 with minimum 55% of marks in aggregate in the relevant subject from a recognized board.
Admission will be based on an entrance exam. There are various courses such as; B.Sc (Hons), M.Sc (Mathematics, CS, Data Science), Ph.D. programs. For admission in Ph.D, a candidate will have cleared the JEST Examination. For Postgraduate programs, an aspirant should have a graduate degree from a recognized university.
For admission to all programmes, Candidates will have to take Chennai Mathematical Institute Entrance Exam. The teachers are respected professors in their field and several awardees of prestigious awards like the Bhavnagar Award. They are mostly helpful with problems a student may have.
That is point to be noted candidates who are under SC/ST category should have given the 5% relaxation of marks at the time of admission. The following table has shown the Fees Structure and Courses lists.

Application fees for admission to programs at Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) are to be paid yearly. The fees are fixed each year and announced via the CMI Admissions webpage.
