CNLU Admission 2026-27 Courses

The university provides Becholers course in law, Masters course in law, the Ph.D. course in law along with various courses which are done in the field of Indian law education is provided by the university.

• BECHLOERS COURSE: The university provides BA LLB Along with BBA LLB in th bachelor’s course of law. This course is also known as the integrated of 5 yrs course, which has only provided for the Law student. In which 2 degrees combined. Together with BA + LLB and BBA + LLB.
• MASTERS COURSES: Chanakya National Law Universitprovide the LLM course, which is for those students. Those want to do a master’s degree in law. The Master’s degree is for two years.
• DOCTORAL COURSE: The university also provides doctoral education into law. Ph.D. in law and LLD.

The Chanakya National Law University offers different courses having different specializations. You need to pass the class 12th examination with at least 45 percent marks while 5 percent relaxation is provided to the Sc/St category students i.e., 40 percent.

PG admission:

The Chanakya National Law University offers different courses having different specializations. You need to pass their bachelor’s degree and an entrance exam with at least 55 percent marks. 

CNLU Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must check the eligibility rules before taking the admission into Chanakya law university 2026.

The candidate has to face the entrance exam for being eligible into the admission in the bachelor’s degree. If the candidates want to take admission to the Ph.D. program, they should face the interview or entrance exam conducted by the university.

• There is an age limit for the candidate. The candidate should not be more than 20 years at the time of admission. Although, if the candidate doesn’t come under any specific category.
• Candidates must own the bachelor’s degree for the Master’s exam.
• Consequently, if the candidate wants to take admission in the bachelor’s exam, they should score 45% into the 12th mark sheet.
• For Ph.D. and Master’s courses. The candidates should own at least 50% in the previous mark sheet.

Admission against one vacant seat:

Candidates who have appeared in the CLAT-2026 Examination that was held on September, 2026 by the Consortium of National Law Universities, Bengaluru for admission and are willing to take admission in BA, LLB (Hons.), BBA, LLB (Hons.) Course in the University against one vacant seat or against the subsequent vacancy, if there are any they can apply under the follwing categories:

SC for Bihar candidates only: Whosoever, candidate are willing to do so has to pay Rs 30,250 through the ICICI Payment Gateway

merit list

The Chanakya National Law University releases its cut-off list as soon as possible. The cut-off list of the university depends on the various factors that are given below:

• The number of students that are present in the entrance exam. 
• The university offered a number of seats.
• The university already reserves some seats for the special students.
• On the difficulty level of the exam and the marks scored by the candidates.
