One of the 54 Federal Government institutions that fall under the ambit of the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education of the Government of India is the Central University of South Bihar in Gaya, India. It was founded in accordance with the Central Universities Act of 2009 (Section 25 of 2009) as the Central University of Bihar (CUB), but that name was later changed to the Central University of South Bihar by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act of 2014. (CUSB). It is a higher education facility located in the state of Bihar. The University has been carrying out its academic and administrative functions from a permanent campus on a 300 acre tract of land in Panchanpur, located approximately 15 kilometres from Gaya town. The university’s motto is “Collective Reasoning.”

Students have to submit their character certificate at the time of admission and parents also have to submit an affidavit which states that their children are not included in ragging. CUSB Admission 2024-25 Courses
The Central University of South Bihar offers admission to a number of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in a number of fields of study. Admission to the courses offered by the university is done on the basis of the merit list prepared considering the marks scored by the candidates in the entrance examination. Candidates must appear for the CUET UG 2024 and the CUET PG 2024 entrance examination conducted by the NTA. The Central University of South Bihar offers admission to several undergraduate degree programs in various fields. The marks of the CUET UG 2024 entrance examination is the basis for admission to the courses which are offered by the university. 31 March 2024 is the last date to complete the online registration for the CUET UG 2024 entrance examination.

CUSB Admission 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria
There are certain basic eligibility criteria which the students need to fulfil before applying for admission to the courses offered by the university. Candidates who fail to comply with the basic eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission to the courses offered by the university. For UG Programmes: The candidates should have completed their 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognised board.
For PG Programmes: The candidates who want to opt for Central University of South Bihar PG Admission 2024-25 should have completed their UG degree from an UGC approved institute.
Also, there is mandatory to attempt the national exams of NET-JRF), NET-LS (without fellowship), Graduate Aptitude Test. Along with for Engineering (GATE), State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) not required to appear for CUCET 2024. These students are in preference for the direct admission.
CUSB Admission 2024-25 Scholarships
The central university of Bihar offers scholarships to students. As it will promote the students to do good in education and help the needy students study at nominal prices.
- The students should be CUCET Merit Rank Holders. Toppers so the university would award Rs 1000/- the students. Along with the students, should also gain at least 75% attendance per semester. 20% of relief into the tuition fee will be provided to the merit students per the form of scholarship.
- University also provides attendance-based merit scholarships to students. It will help the students promote students’ attendance, and they also offer books as per the student’s choice. They also give 1000 rs of award towards the students.
- The central university of Bihar provides the learning certificate to the students. For gaining experience in assistant in labs, library, computer lab or any center/department, office, placement section, and so on. They provide a certificate for all.
