It is a deemed ,non-profit university established in 1964 and always follow ‘Knowledge is Supreme Power’.The institute is one of the six institutes to be awarded the Institute of Eminence status in 2018. It is the first international deemed university deals in science, engineering and research works with four established campuses as in Pilani , Dubai, Goa and Hyderabad . BITS considered the all India entrance examination , The Birla Institute of Technology amd Science Admission Test ( BIT SAT ) for the admission in the institute . It has a different admission process for foreign students called International Student Admission (ISA ) category . The institute provides many streams as Engineering , Science, Business &Health Sciences , Humanities &Social Sciences ,IT & Software and Medicine & Health Sciences. They can also submit fees through cheque that must be drawn in favor of “BITS Pilani FZ LLC” and payable in AED at a bank in Dubai. Students must make sure that the cheque will be accepted only if the cheque is from a bank based in UAE. Students can also deposit the fees through bank transfer or Demand Draft.

Fee Payment at Birla Institute Of Technology & Science
Follow the following steps to pay the fees.
- Open with URL http://erp.bitmesra.ac.in
- Enter your Username and Password and Log in.
- If you are a new student, you will have to sign in.
- A check box will be displayed. Click on the Check box and Submit.
- Click on the Academics tab. Click on Student Related. Select Online Payment from the menu.
- A new page opens. Select the Receipt type and Semester. Click on OK.
- Click on Pay Now.
- A new screen will open. Select your preferred mode of payment and bank i.e. debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Once the payment is successful, a payment receipt will be generated.
