Bharathidasan University Admission 2026-27 – Students must note that the last date for Bharathidasan University admissions 2026 is 2nd August 2026. The university was established in 1982, named after a legend poet ‘Bharathidasan’. More than 150 courses are offered at Bharathidasan University at UG, PG and research levels. The course list of Bharathidasan University includes BVoc, BTech, BA, MTech, MA etc.

Bharathidasan University offers several UG and PG courses in the streams like Arts, Commerce, Sciences etc. The standard UG degree is of 3 years. The eligibility is that all the aspiring students need to pass the 10+2 from a recognised board. Bharathidasan University Application Process 2026-27:

• The Admission process is conducted Offline. There are no other criteria for form filling and submission.
• The Application forms need to be collected from the Registrar, Bharathidasan University, Palkalaiperur, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024.
• An amount of Rs.500 needs to be submitted with the Registrar as the application form fee, Rs.250 needs to be submitted by SC/ST/OBC castes belonging candidates.
• The forms can also be obtained from the university as well as for the facility of few candidates, forms are also provided online on the official website of the university.
• Candidates can download the form from the official website of the university and are required to fill all the necessary details regarding their marks, academic qualifications, bank details, personal information, etc.
• All the details should be filled correctly.
• Passport size photograph and signatures should also be uploaded with the other necessary details filled in the application form.
• The last step is to submit the application fee and the form, followed by the print- out of the original form.

Bharathidasan University Application Form 2026-27:

As per the university guidelines, no form will be accepted if the application fee is unpaid. All the applicants are required to pay the fee with the application form. The fee is different for different caste categories, and it goes like:

General Category:        Rs.500

SC/ST/OBC/Others:       Rs.250

Bharathidasan University Eligibility Criteria 2026-27

• The admission to the university is based on an Entrance Exam. If the student clears the entrance exam with good grades, she/he will be given admission into the respective courses offered by the university 
• To be eligible for admission into the Bharathidasan University, a candidate should have a master’s degree in the respective subject from the recognized university or the institution.
• The next requirement is that the candidate should be the Citizen Of India.
• The requirement of marks is different for different caste categories of students which goes like:

General Category:                               55%

SC/ST/OBC/Others:                             50%

Admission will be strictly based on the reservation policy that is governed by Government of Tamil Nadu.

5% seats are strictly reserved for differently abled students and students belonging to Adi Dravidar and Tribal Community need no to pay tuition fees.

Instructions for Fee Submission:

• Please submit the tuition fee and semester fee timely.
• Candidates who are physically challenged are exempted from the submission of tuition fee and special fee.
• Candidates who are under the reserved category are only exempted from the tuition fee and all other fees to be remitted by them.

Note:

Candidate who are not getting admission in one department can shift their application for another department where seats are vacant, with the permission of the Registrar of the University.
