Dr BR Ambedkar School of Economics will conduct admission for its UG and PG programs through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026. The deadline for registration for CUET UG 2026 is March 30, and the exam will be held from May 21 to May 31, 2026. CUET PG 2026 registrations are currently open, with the last date to apply being April 19. The exam for CUET PG 2026 will be held from June 1 to June 10, 2026.

If candidates want to take admission into the university. Then they must have to visit the official web portal of the university. 

After visiting the web portal, candidates can fill the application form. Along with, after filling the admission form, candidates can become eligible consequently the entrance exam. Henceforth, after clearing the entrance exam, candidates will be called for the counseling round.

Along with all this, the university provides a scholarship program towards the eligible candidates. Those students who belong to the low financial background can become available for the scholarship program. 

The university provides 60% seats to the native students of Karnataka. Henceforth the rest 40% seats are open for all state candidates. Along with, 20% of seats are, of course, reserved for the candidates who belong to the reserved caste.

If the candidates want to take admission into the MSc Five year integrated course, then the candidates should have to complete their 12th studies with English and Maths subjects. Along with the candidates should gain at least 65% marks. Although if the candidate belongs to the ST/SC/PWD, then they should score at least a 60% score. Along with all these, the university cost the different admission fee for various courses.

If candidates want to do an MSC 5 year integrated course. Then they must have to pay rs/- 200 for GM, OBC Caste. Consequently for ST/SC caste. Along with Nill for PWD candidates.

Along with, if the candidates want to take admission into the Two years MSC course in economics. Then they should have a bachelors course in B.Sc ( Honors) Along with it should be in economics. Econometrics. Mathematics. Statistics. The candidates should own at least 55% marks into the bachelor’s degree. Additionally, 50% for ST/SC/PWD caste.

The application fee is around 300/- for GM, OBC.

Rs 150/- for ST/SC

Along with there is no fee charge for the PWD caste.

Selection Procedure:

For five year Integrated M.Sc. Economics: The online entrance will contain questions on numerical aptitude, general knowledge, data interpretation, English, reasoning.

For two-year M.Sc. Economics: English, Economics, Quantitative Ability questions will be in the online entrance test.

Reservation of Seats:

Candidates who are native of Karnataka 60% of seats are reserved for them and remaining 40% of seats are for other state’s students.
