Banglar Shiksha Portal: West Bengal School Education Department (WBSED) provides equality and quality in education by providing advanced education at all levels primary, upper-primary, secondary, and higher secondary.
One of the developed digital portals known as Bangla Shiksha is used to record all data related to school. It is used by various school departments. So that the quality of schools can be maintained or to raise standards of their school. Through this portal, they can take feedback from these schools. Everyone has the right to get a quality education. The Banglar Shiksha portal helps provide equal education to all.
Banglar Shiksha which comes under the operations West Bengal School Education Department [WBSED] has the aim to provide free education to all irrespective of gender, race, or religion. It also ensures 100% girl child enrollment without any biases.
The Functionaries have well-defined assignments. Some of these are: development of Curriculum, Syllabus, Text Books, Evaluation Pattern and In-service Teachers’ Training (Expert Committee on School Education), Conducting Board/Council Examinations and providing Academic Guidance, (Boards and Councils), Preparation of Research Material and Follow-up Training (SCERT), Inspection (Inspectorate), Recruitment of teachers/staff (Service Commission), Execution of Projects and Schemes (Project Office).

Banglar Shiksha Portal 2023 Activity Task: In the year 2019, due to Covid, when all the schools were closed, WBSED took a step to help students with their studies. West Bengal School Education Department (WBSED) begins “Online Banglar Shiksha Classroom” on its Banglar Shiksha portal, banglarshiksha.gov.in. On this online classroom form pre-primary to 12 class students of West Bengal portal can approach projects, e-learning videos and ABP Ananda broadcasted programs. This portal was started on February 26, 2019. The main aim of this web portal is to give real-time data on West Bengal board schools. Due to lock down the Banglar Shiksha Portal 2023 is now providing an online classroom program which help students to continue their study to keep students safe and keep them away from COVID-19. According to subject’s videos, PDF and notes will be available on the portal and for 9, 10 and 11 class questions answer will also be available according to subjects.
