Bangalore University is a Public and State University in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It has two campuses: City Campus and JB Campus. Currently, the Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University is Dr. Venugopal K.R. It has more than 600 affiliated Colleges. This is a recognized University is an association with ACU and AIU, affiliated by UGC and accredited by the NAAC and also has been given grade ‘A’ in 2016. Bangalore University admissions starts in the month of July. To be eligible for Bangalore University UG level courses candidates should have passed 10+2 level with 50% marks in aggregate. For PG level, candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Admission to most of the courses are offered based on qualifying examination, while for some, the university conducts an entrance test.
