The University of Emerging Sciences and Technologies of Baddi (BUEST), commonly referred to as the University of Baddi, was founded in 2002 and recognized in 2009 as a university. The institute has created an impressive structure for scholars with project-based learning and outstanding placements, spread over 40 acres of land. For Undergraduate programs, a candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with physics & mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the optional subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology from a recognized board. For postgraduate programs should be a graduate in any relevant course from a recognized University.
The university provides B.Tech. in CE, ECE, EE, CSE, and ME. M.Tech in Robotics and Automation, Electronics and Communication, Power Electronics and Drives, Production Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering.
Apart from traditional MBA courses, the university introduces Bachelor of Hotel Management, Executive MBA and MBA plus and Doctorate in engineering, management, basic sciences, and pharmacy.
The caution money that students need to submit is charged by the University for each and every programme. Therefore, that caution money is refundable after the completion of the particular programme. Also, the University charges registration fees for each degree programme and that is Rs 10000.
