The University of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah (BGSBU) is a state university in Jammu and Kashmir, based in Rajouri. It was set up by the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly Act, Act No. XVI of 2002, approved by the Committee on University Grants (UGC). In different disciplines, the university provides undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. On the basis of university entrance and national level entry test results, admission to the same is carried out.
