B.Ed. Syllabus, Subjects, Books, and Course Structure (Bachelor of Education)
The compulsory course that candidates need to use in order to become a professional teacher in India is B. Ed or Bachelor of Education. Candidates can pursue B.Ed after 10+2. Two different aspects are the syllabus for the course and the B.Ed. entrance exams. While the former is the course curriculum that is delivered over the course’s 2-year period, the latter applies to the subjects that candidates need to learn to crack these entry examinations. In a majority of colleges , there is no age bar for B.Ed admissions. However, some B.Ed colleges require candidates to be minimum 19 years in age.
Every year, several entrance exams for admissions to the top B.Ed. colleges in India are conducted. The IGNOU B.Ed. Entrance Exam is held annually for admissions to Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Generally, the exam is carried out in the month of April or May.
