Ayush and Health Science University was established in the year 2009 and is located in Chattisgarh.  This University provides Medical and Paramedical courses. Likewise, a lot of Medical colleges are affiliated to this University.

The motive of this university to offer not only modern medicine but also using the methods of traditional systems of Indian medicine viz. Siddha, Ayurveda and Unani.

Admission:

Ayush and Health Sciences University offers a number of courses for the students under the UG and PG program. The university provides courses in both English and Hindi languages. Ayush and Health Sciences University offers 55 courses in one stream. Ayush and Health Sciences University provides admission on the basis of merit. 

Ayush and Health Science University Eligibility Criteria for all courses:

The University has announced Minimum eligibility criteria for all courses and below are the details

1. The Candidates applying for MBBS degree should have passed 10,+2 with 50% NEET score.
2.  For MD and MD. Community Medicine, the candidate needs to be a Post Graduate.
3.  Candidates applying for M.Sc should be a Graduate.
4. Candidates with BDS with 50% and NEET MDS can apply for MDS degree.

Application form:

You can fill out the application form online from the official website of Ayush and Health Sciences University while for the offline mode you need to collect the form from the registered office of the university. You should check all details entered by you before submission because if the university finds any inappropriate information in the form then the university rejects or cancels your application. You should take the printout of the form and fee receipt for future use. 

Ayush and Health Science University Admission process:

MBBS Degree Admission:

Candidates seeking admission for this 5-year MBBS program should have the below academic criteria

Candidates with 10,+2 from CBSE or any equivalent exam with 50%marks will be considered.

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery:

Similarly like MBBS, candidates applying for this course should have 50% marks to be eligible for admission. The course duration is 5 years.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery Admission:

The BDS degree offered by the University comes with a duration of 4 years. The candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in 10,+2 or from any recognized School.

Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery(BHMS) Admission:

The candidates applying for this 5 year BHMS program should have passed 10,+2 or High school secondary exam or any equivalent examination. Minimum percentage of marks should be 50% marks and 5% less for SC/ST.

Other UG courses Admission:

The minimum eligibility criteria of all other courses remain the same. Candidates should have passed 10,+2 with 50 % marks and below are the course details:

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy- 4 years
• B.Sc Nursing -4 years
• Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery- 3 years
• BA Naturopathy and Yoga Science-3 years
• Bachelor in Audiology and Speech- 4 years

PG Admission process:

Ayush and Health Science University offers PG courses in few specializations. Below are the details

• Master of Science(M.Sc) – 2 years
• Master of Physiotherapy – 2 years
• Master of Dental Surgery – 3 years
• Master of Surgery(MS)- Course duration is 3 years and candidates with MBBS Degree can apply for this course.
• Masters in Opthalmology -3 years
•  Masters in Surgery – 3 years
• Masters in Anatomy- 3 years
•  Masters in Ayurveda- 3 years

The eligibility criteria remain similar to that of MS course.

Doctorate courses Admission:

Doctorate of Medicine(MD)-Radiotherapy:

Candidates with Graduation degree or MBBS Degree with 50% marks are eligible for applying for this MD course.  The course duration is 3 years.

Doctorate of Medicine(MD)-Anesthesiology:

Similarly like Radiotherapy specialization, the course duration is of 3 years and eligibility criteria remain the same.

There are other courses in Doctorate that comes with various specializations offered by the University. The candidates can apply by seeing the eligibility criteria and apply with the University.

Important dates by the University:

The University has announced dates of Admission which starts from May 2026 to June 2026. 

Admission :- The candidates are selected on the basis of marks in 10+2 examination or on the basis of graduation marks. The shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview. Selected candidates are called for admission. Students are called for further counselling process and admission.

Merit List:

The candidates are waiting for the merit list that Ayush and Health Sciences University publishes on its official website. You can download the merit list and check your name on the merit list by entering your roll number and date of birth. 

Counseling:

The selected students need to select the appropriate center and reach before one day. If you are not able to reach the counseling center on time then your seat is allotted to another candidate. 

Verification:

Anyone can apply for verification of original/photocopy of documents like mark sheet etc. issued by board. The person who wants to verify the academic documents may have to follow the following procedure:

1. They are required to write an application on simple paper and also mention roll no., class, session in application along with self-attested photo copy of documents.
2. Has to submit demand draft of Rs 2000 i.e. non-refundable for each documents that is to be drawn in favor of “University” payable at Raipur.
3. Also Rs 100 extra as postal charges in India and Rs 1000 for out of India.
4. Time period required for verification is 30 days.
5. Also required to mention postal address and phone no. on the application.
