The Science and Technology University of Assam was founded in Guwahati in 2010. In the field of Science and Technology, the university offers different classes. In the fields of engineering, research, pharmaceutical science, management and architecture, planning and design, ASTU Assam has schools and offers different undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Eligibility for UG courses is accepted by 10 + 2 and a bachelor’s degree in a related field is the same for PG courses. The selection for B.Tech and M.Tech is made on the basis of the entrance examination (Assam CEE and GATE respectively), while admission is made on the basis of merit for all other courses in the previous qualification examination.
