Allahabad University Admission 2024-25: Admission to various courses which are offered by Allahabad University is done on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the CUET entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency. Students can apply for Allahabad University admission in U.G. courses like B.A., B. Com, B. SC, BPE, etc. To get admission to the UG courses, the students must qualify for the UGAT entrance test. To get admission in P.G. courses like M.A., M. SC, M. Tech, MPA, MFA, etc. students need to qualify for the PGAT entrance test.
In particular get admission in any law courses like LLB, B.A. LLB, etc. Along with candidates need to score good marks in LAT, LSAT entrance exams.

It is expected that the university will start its admission process in the month of July. Therefore, from 2024, the university shall consider the CUET- Common University Entrance Examination scores. The examination is being conducted by the National Testing Agency and the registration process has been started. Therefore, students are advised to fill the CUET application before the last submission date to avoid any last-minute chaos. Allahabad University is widely referred to as the University of Allahabad is a central university set up in 1887 and it was re-established as a central university in 2005. UG, PG and PhD levels courses are offered at the Allahabad University. Various streams of courses are being offered which include sciences, law, arts and many more. PhD programme is offered in many specialisations. Generally, the undergraduate program at the university is of 4 years and pg is of 2 years. Earlier, the university used to conduct the Undergraduate Admission Test- UGAT and now CUET marks shall be considered for admissions. BA, Bsc. BA Hons admissions from 2024-25 shall be based on the Common University Entrance Test scores. For almost all the undergraduate courses of Allahabad University, the eligibility remains the same i.e passed class 12th with qualifying marks. And for most of the postgraduate programs, the eligibility remains the same i.e must pass graduation from UGC recognised university.

Allahabad University has 16 constituent colleges working under its administration. All the colleges are regulated by the university rules and regulations which they need to follow. We are expecting that the Allahabad University admissions 2024 shall being in the month of July. Admissions shall be done based on CUET scores. The admission is done based on the valid scores in CUET. Admission are offered UG, PG integrated programmes. For UG courses, the admissions shall be based on the Common University Entrance Test scores commonly known as CUET. CUET registration has started on 6th April 2020. The entire admission process is conducted in an online mode. More than 50 courses are offered across streams for admission at the Allahabad University. BA, BTech, BBA, Bsc are offered based on CUET scores. Pass in class 12th examination is the minimum eligibility to get admissions at the Allahabad University. PhD aspirants have to appear for CRT for admissions. There is an interview round as well for the PhD aspirants when they clear the round will only get admissions. UGC NET/CSIR NET or GATE candidates that have a valid scores in the same need not take the entrance test but they have to appear for an interview. PhD is offered in the specialisations- Agriculture Chemistry, Agriculture Botany, Anthropology, Agriculture Zoology, Arabic, Botany, Commerce, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry. MBA aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree in hand with a university that has been recognised to get admissions. PGAT exam is mandatory for students to sit for followed by group discussion and personal interview. Therefore, appearing the examination, GD and PI is mandatory. These are the criteria based on which admissions will be offered. MTech eligibility is BTech from a reputed university that are offered in various specialisations some of which are electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering etc. The university conducts an entrance examination to give admission to MTech in the university. Two examination scores are acceptable for Mtech admission- PGAT/GATE. Earlier, the university offers Btech admission on UGAT/JEE Main. Having a valid score in UGAT/JEE Main is mandatory. Now it is important to have valid scores in CUET from the session 2024-25 for admission to most of the ug courses at the Allahabad University. So, to get the admission to UG courses, the basic eligibility is to pass the class 12th from a recognised in relevant stream.

The registration fee is different for the courses with different category:-
For UGAT courses, the application fees are 1500/- for general and the OBC category. Togther with the fee is 750/- for reserved category.
For PGAT courses, the application fees are 800/- for general as OBC category, Along with for the reserved category, it is 400/- for part 1. Together with the application fees for section 2 are 1600/- for general and OBC category, and for the reserved category, it is 800/-.
ELIGIBILITY FOR COURSES in Allahabad University Admission
For admission in different courses, candidates are required to follow different admission procedures, respectively. The criteria of entry in any courses are:-
- To take admission to B.A.LLB, students need to qualify for intermediate exams with a minimum of 45% for the general category, 42% for OBC, and 40% for the reserved category.
- Students must complete graduation if they want to take admission in the PG courses. For admission in the UG courses, they must complete higher secondary education (12th).
