Registration for Aikyashree Scholarship 2024 will start in the month of May 2024.
The Aikyashree scholarship is allocated and operated by the government of West Bengal and its subsidiary boards. It is meant for the meritorious and deserving students studying at the school and college level of the state to encourage them. It is an initiative taken by the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC) for the talented children belonging to the minorities and financially backward communities, in order to motivate them and to promote educational opportunities amongst them. The Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme is fully funded for the financial year 2024 from the state budget. Scholarship is available for different pre-matric, post-matric, and merit-cum-means scholarships.
The objective of this scholarship is to cater to the needs of minority students by giving them an incentive for their studies through satisfying their financial needs. It provides social and economic benefits to the students. The minority groups include Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhist, Parsis and Jains.
The application for the Aikyashree scholarship will start in August 2024 and end in December 2024. However, the notification will be released soon on the official website.

After creating the account, the candidates must fill out the application form by entering the asked details and submitting it. While filling out the Aikyashree Scholarship form, the details such as name, age, gender, educational qualification, the income of the family, caste, previous year marks, etc.

Aikyashree Scholarship 2024
The candidates who belong to the minority category can take the benefit of this scholarship scheme by choosing their reservation category OBC/SC/ST.
Although this is more important for candidates to check their parents annual income because for applying this scholarship the candidate’s annual family income is not more than 2,00,000 lac. Along with that the candidate should also get more than 50% in their previous exam to be eligible for the scholarship.
Aikyashree Scholarships are available for minority and poor students of West Bengal. The aim of this scheme is to provide educational and social benefits to the students. The scholarship is provided from class 1 to Ph.D. levels. The recipient of an Aikyashree scholarship must be a member of an eligible community. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AIKYASHREE SCHOLARSHIP-

Process of the Aikyashree Scholarship Application.
All schemes and process for the application of Aikyashree scholarship are applied online.
The stepwise procedure for filling the online student registration form for the scholarship are given below.
Step 1- Student Registration
- Visit the official website of the Aikyashree scholarship.
- Click on student registration/ new registration tab.
- Fill in the registration form displayed with all your personal details like contact number,name,email id,bank details,district etc.
- Proceed by clicking on the ‘submit’ button.
Step 2- Scheme Eligibility
- Play all your academic related details such as current institution name,address,marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination,annual family income, etc.
- Proceed by clicking on the ‘submit’ button.
Step 3- Students Registration
- List of all scholarship schemes based on all the information you submitted in the previous step and your eligibility criteria is displayed. A temporary user ID for the application will be received by the applicants. User id and password will be sent to the email address you entered in the previous step.
STEP-4 Student Login
- The applications should use their user id and password sent on their email id to login to their scholarship portal.
- The applicant is required to fill in the details under the basic information and academic information section. Mention the bank account details also.
Step5- Final Online Submission
- Verification of all the entered details by the candidate should be done and any correction should be made at this stage.
- The applicant after verifying all the entered details should proceed by clicking on the ‘submit’button.
Step6- Offline Submission
- After the successful submission of the completed form, The applicant is required to take a printout of the same and submission of the form is to be done to the head of the institution along with all the documents.

Selection procedure:
There are two categories of students who can get the benefit from the Aikyashree Scholarship scheme; first are new students and the second is the students who apply for the renewal of the scholarship.
For new students: The corporation will only consider the students who score merit in their examination and the students who study the subject which is provided by the state government and the name is budgetary allocation.
For renewal scholarship: The corporation will consider only those students who score 50 percent in their previous examination.

There are different conditions that the students must keep in their mind at the time of availing for the Aikyashree scholarship:
- Candidate need to attend classes on a regular basis.
- Candidate need to abide all the terms and conditions of the scholarship scheme.

- For candidates registering themselves as a fresh applicant. The selection will be based on the merit list.
