AMET University Fees Structure 2026
AMET University offers a wide range of courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels. India’s first Maritime University is considered to be a maritime education, training and research university. The objective of this university to provide world class infrastructure and providing helpful, progressive, creative, and learning atmosphere. AMET had a humble start in the year 1993 with only 14 cadets moulded for a career in the merchant navy through a Higher National Diploma programme in marine engineering with quality, dedication, knowledge and excellence as its corner stones.

AMET.ac.in fees structure 2026
The Fees Structure and programs offered by the university are so simple and students are keen to learn. Such programs are; B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Com, B.E, B.Voc, ME, M.Voc, MBA, and many more courses. A student who is willing to take admission in these courses first has to meet with eligibility criteria. He/She should have passed 10+2 in the relevant subject from the recognized board. For engineering programs, a candidate should have passed the JEE-mains examination.
For admission in postgraduate courses, a candidate should have a graduate degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% of marks in aggregate from a recognized university. There are some other courses are; Certificate programs and Advanced diploma programs in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science. The duration of these courses is 2 years.
Admission will be based on an entrance exam that is conducted by the university. The following table has shown the Fees Structure and Courses lists.

The University also charges some other fees such as
- Examination application form : Rs 100
- Grade Statement : Rs 200
- Exam Fees for theory of Under Graduate (B.E., B.B.M, B.Sc.) for Regular Rs 300 while for Arrear Rs 400
- Exam fees for practical of Under Graduate (B.E, B.B.M, B.Sc.) for Regular and Arrear Rs 400
- Exam fees for theory of Post Graduate (MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc.) for Regular and Arrear Rs 400
- Exam fees for practical of Post Graduate (MBA, M.TECH, M.Sc.) for Regular Rs 500 and for Arrear Rs 400
Application fees charged by the Academy of Maritime Education and Training are Rs 1000 per application. The application fees can be paid by online transfer or by cash. For payment of examination fees and other fees, the Academy of Maritime Education and Training has built a special app- Parent and Student Portal. Academy of Maritime Education and Training charges fees for various official work such as providing mark sheets, degree certificates, hall tickets, examination application fees, etc. These fees range from Rs. 250 to Rs. 3,000.
