Aaple Sarkar dbt Scholarship Portal –
The abbreviation of DBT is Direct Benefit Transfer. Aaple Sarkar dbt portal is for the people of Maharashtra and is an online Government Scholarship Portal of Maharashtra that was launched on 1st January 2013.
It aims to offer 38 different matric scholarships under the state government.
Through dbt different types of government, schemes were launched and their main purpose is to transfer the amount directly to the bank account.
The last date to apply for scholarships, re-applications, and Scholarship Renewal at this portal is 31st May 2022.
Advantages-
1.The amount received from any scheme is directly transferred to the bank account as through dbt they aim to improve the Government’s Delivery system, make the flow of funds and information faster and secure to reduce frauds, etc.

Steps to register on dbt portal –
1. First, visit the official portal.
2. .Click on New Applicant Registration.
3. Enter form details and upload required documents and photos.
4. Enter username, password, confirm password, and OTP ( for email and phone number both).
5. There will appear a list of categories of schemes. Then, choose any of the categories and a list will open with the following categories of Farmers, Students, Pensioners, Women and Child, Youth, Skills, and Employment.
6. Enter OTP ( you will receive it at the time of registration) to verify your mobile number.
7. Click on the Register button.

To login to the portal, you have to perform the following steps –
1. Firstly, visit the official portal of Maharashtra aaple sarkar using the link provided.
2. Enter your registered username, confirm your password, and the security text is shown in the image in the box provided.
3. Click on Login to proceed further with the process.
4. After login into it and confirming the login password and security text, then click on ”the Login Here” button for login.
5. In case you forgot your password/username, just click on Forgot password/forgot username.

The process to Check Application Status on Aaple Sarkar-
- Visit the official portal.
- Enter details like name, phone number, address, username, etc.
- Select the name of the department and scholarship scheme you want.
- Enter details like application/reference number.
- Click on the ‘Proceed button.
- On the next page check your application status.
Redeem Procedure in the Portal-
Once you log into the official portal, i.e, www.mahadbtmahait.gov.in, click on the My Applied Scheme button and then click on the Redeem box.
Renewal Procedure on dbt scholarship –
- Enter your username and password on the login page of the dbt portal. Click on the course you are pursuing and add the current semester and year. Also mention the details of the last examination you gave.
- Upload the required documents.
Steps to reset login name/user name if you forgot it –
- Visit the official portal.
- Click on ‘Applicant Login’.
- Click on ‘Forgot Username’.
- Enter the details again like your name, phone number, etc, and click on ‘Get Username’.
- A box will appear on the screen with the text ‘ Your username successfully sent to your registered mobile number’.
- SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number that your username is ‘ user name’. Save the details for future reference.
