Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission Form
Admission forms are available for the admission in polytechnic courses. Candidates who are interested to want to seek admission in these courses please visit the official website and fill the application form but before filling the form please read all the guidelines. There’s no offline application will be accepted for admission procedure.
How to fill the Application Form?
- Candidates please visit the website and click on the New Registration.
- After that give the information of mobile number and e-mail id.
- Candidates will receive User Id and password and fill the application form with these login credentials
- Submit all the required documents with passport size photograph and signature as per given dimensions
- Pay the application fee via online mode including Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission Eligibility Criteria
- A Candidate who is applying for the admission in polytechnic courses must be a permanent citizen of India.
- Age of the Candidate should not be less than 14 years and there’s no upper age limit for the applicants.
- Candidates must have passed HSC examination from a recognized board to get admission in polytechnic courses.
- Applicants must have scored at least 35% of marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination for appearing the courses.
- A candidate must have some mandatory subjects in his / her qualifying exams like; Mathematics, Science and English.
Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission Fee
- Applicants please check the website for admission fee.
- For General Category Application fee – INR 400/-
- For SC / ST Category Application fee– INR 300/-
- And the mode of submission of fee is online only.
- Application fee is non-refundable.
Maharashtra Polytechnic Counselling
Candidates who are shortlisted for admission procedure will be called for Counselling process. The counselling process is held via the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). On the basis of final merit list, candidates can participate in the choice filling process. In which they can fill their choices of polytechnic colleges. The counselling will be done in three rounds. This procedure available in each round of counselling. The one who has not fulfilled the criteria in round 1 they will be called for round 2 and vice versa.

Maharashtra Polytechnic Seat Allotment
The allotment of seats in Maharashtra Polytechnic will be through online mode. The process will be done category-wise and it has three rounds. Candidates will have to confirm their own choices during these rounds. Because after that no one can rights to choose options that’s why Maharashtra Polytechnic providing three rounds of seat allotment process. When all the candidates fill their seats and if some seats are remain then the authorities will conduct additional counselling rounds.
Seats are provided on the basis of reservation policy, merit and the preference of students.
Once seats allotted to candidates, after that candidates will have to visit Admission Reporting Center where they have to done verification of documents. And after document verification candidates have to accept the seat.
The seat acceptance fee is Rs. 1000. Submission of fee on the day of seat allotment by all the candidates. The fee is non-refundable.
Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission Merit List
The authorities will release provisional merit list of Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission. The final list of candidates whose names in the merit list will be declared after the provisional list. The dates of declaration of both provisional and final merit list can be change by the authorities of Maharashtra Polytechnic, so candidates please visit the college or also visit the official website.

Tie-breaking for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission
- Candidates who scored high percentage in mathematics will have given priority.
- If tie is not solved, then high score in Science stream will be preferred.
- If the tie still exists then candidates with higher percentage in English will give preference.
- Highest marks in HSC will be preferred.
- ITI 2-year course also given the priority.
