The Directorate General of Training (DGT) conducts the All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) for admission to Craft Instructor Training through centralized counseling. Currently, craft educationists are trained in 34 trades, with training conducted in 28 National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs), 6 State Government Institutes of Training of Trainers (IoTs), and 12 Private Institutes of Training of Trainers.

The full form of NCVT CTI is “National Council of Vocational Training – Craft Instructor Training”. The NCVT is responsible for conducting these courses. The students who are currently indulged in training under the CTS i.e., Craftsman training scheme and those who are going to appear in the last semester of AITT (All India trade test) during July 2023 can also fill the Online CTI application form 2023.

NCVT CTI Application form for 2023
The application will be entertained only in the online mode from the aspirants who are truly interested in serving as Vocational instructor in ITI/ITC all over the country.
- The application form for NCVT CTI Admissions 2023 will come out in the 3rd week of June 2023
- The last date for the submission of the application form will be the 4th week of June 2023
- Absorbed Candidates can submit their online applications either through the direct ‘apply online’ link or through the official website of CITS admission.
- The submission of the application can be done in April.
- If the candidate is interested in admission into private ITO’s, it will also be done through e- counselling by AICTE.
NCVT CTI Application Fee

NCVT CTI Eligibility criteria
- NAC/NTC (NCVT certificate from relevant trade) or a diploma from the known Board of Technical education.
- The students who are already into training under the CTS i.e., Craftsman training scheme and are going to appear in the final exam of AITT in July 2023 will also be taken into account for their appearance in AICTE but their final admission in the CITS courses will be considered only after the completion of their training.
- If in case the candidate fails in the CTS final exam, their admission to the CITS courses will be canceled and the already submitted fees will also not get refunded.
