Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) Admission 2026-27: This University was propounded in the year 2009. However, the government of Uttarakhand established the university. The Uttarakhand Ayurved University offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and research level degree programmes in various fields of study. Candidates who have completed 10+2 can choose to pursue the undergraduate degree programmes which are offered as a part of UAU Admission 2026-27. We have listed below the courses which are offered by the Uttarakhand Ayurved University.

UG Level:

• BAMS – Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery.
• BHMS – Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery.
• BUMS – Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery.

PG Level:

• MD (AY)  – Doctor of Medicine.
• MS (AY) – Doctor of Surgery. 

Ph.D.: Doctor in Philosophy. 

Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) Eligibility Criteria:

UG Level: The first thing to remember is that candidate has to complete the regular schooling. However, class 10th and class 12th marks play an important role in the admission for UG level. In particular, the students who have completed 10th & 12th in the stream of science are eligible. Subjects especially Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Moreover, the candidate should have a minimum of 50% aggregate.

PG Level: Consequently, as discussed for the UG level. Completion of class 12th. Including a UG Degree certificate in any authorized school or university. 

Ph.D. Level: On the whole for research candidates should have a UG and PG degree certificate on the relevant subject applied. 

Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) Application Details:

In the first place, the candidate should check the official site for an application. Link: https://www.uau.ac.in/index.php However, the aspirant should apply for an online application. Second, an application fee range of Rs 2500/- to Rs 3500/- has to be paid to the university. At the same time, the payment depends upon the community that the candidate belongs to. Without delay, read the application and complete the form. Third, the candidate should have appeared for the entrance test. Once the aspirant clears the entrance, he/she will be called for counseling. However, if you clear the counseling you will be given admission to the university. 

Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) Admission Details:

According to the UAU, admission is based on merit. To begin with, the applicant has to undergo an entrest test for any UG, PG, or Ph.D. courses. Hear the entrance is recognized by central counseling for Indian medical. However, for PG applicants, it is PGET. ie Post Graduate Entrance Test. Where els for P.hD applicants, it is the Research Entrance Test. In particular, all these tests are conducted by the University. 

Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) Duration of Courses offered:

• First, the UG Level: 4 years 6 months + 1-year rotary internship  ( mandatory)
• Second, the PG Level: 3 years + compulsory rotary internship.

Exam Date – AIA PGCET: June 2026

In general, all the candidates applying for the university should have supporting documents with them. Obviously the scorecards or sheets. Likewise the transfer certificate. • The application form must be filled properly because incomplete form will be rejected.
• Application form shall be submitted through online only.
• If a candidate appearing in the qualifying examination then he/she can apply to the university.
• Admission will be made on the basis of entrance test or merit basis.
• If any document of a candidate is found incorrect then his/her admission will be cancelled and the University will not refund the amount of application fee and courses fee.
• Once the fee paid shall not be refunded.   
• After the prescribed date the admission procedure shall be closed.
• Candidates should attach the attested copies of all relevant documents.
