Founded in 1913 under the name Anglo Tamil School, National High School currently comprises two campuses. One is situated at Sarat Bose Road and is affiliated with WBBSE (West Bengal Board of Secondary Education) and WBCHSE (West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education). The second campus is located at Hazra Road and is affiliated with CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). Both campuses operate under the auspices of the N.R. Iyer Memorial Education Society. Now in its 107th year, the school aims to provide a comprehensive and value-based education to its students at an economical cost, with all students being obliged to bring their textbooks and exercise books for their respective subjects during working days, unless otherwise specified.
