Optional courses in social work are HIV / AIDS: Stigma, Discrimination, and prevention, Woman and Child Development, Disaster Management, Introduction to Philanthropic Social Work, and Dissertation as project work. Note: The university has decided 32,400 INR as a full-year course the university taking @16,200 per year as a yearly fee. (The subject fee can be changed by the university as per the time)

IGNOU MSW Program structure

The IGNOU university provides the facility with a credit system for master degree programs. Per credit amount to 30 hours of study along with all learning activities. That means a 4 credit score values 120 study hours. A 6 credit score entails 180 study hours, as well as 10 credit scores, entail 300 study hours. To complete the MSW course the candidate needs to earn a 66 credit score with a time duration of 2 to 5 years depending on the candidate’s convince.

The MSW master’s degree program contains 3 major components

1. Compulsory papers in which they should have 38 credits.

Fieldwork components
