Eligibility Criteria IGNOU B.Tech
For each level, there is a different eligibility criterion.
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 in the science stream with at least 45% marks from a recognized board ( with the main subjects -Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
- The candidate with a Diploma Degree in different specializations of B.Tech like Electrical/Civil/Architecture/ Computer/Chemical Engineering from a recognized polytechnic or its equivalent is also eligible.
- The candidate must have a Certificate of Draughtsman from ITI or any recognized institute with the subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- For 10th pass candidates, the candidate must have physics, chemistry, and mathematics as the main subjects and 2 years of working experience in the construction industry in any capacity.
Admission IGNOU B.Tech
Admissions are offered based on the scores of the candidate in the entrance exams.
For the students who wish to appear for the entrance examinations, the hall ticket had been declared in June, 2024. The candidates can download the admit cards from the official website of IGNOU.
The entrance exams will be held between July, 2024, and September, 2024.
Full Form of TEE – Term End Examination.
The candidate must fill out the application form and submit it before the last date, i.e. August, 2024. Enter the details like name, contact number, email-id, etc, and upload the required scanned documents, the size must not exceed the maximum size as mentioned in the form.
Examination pattern
There are two sessions when admissions start i.e.January – June, and July – December, based on this your exams are scheduled and semesters are divided.
The Fee charged for the full course is Rs.20,000 only.
The Registration fee charged for the course is Rs.200.

- After registering yourself, log in using a username and password.
- Enter the details properly and upload the scanned documents including –

- School Leaving Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if any)
- Domicile
- After filling up the details and uploading the documents, the candidate will be asked to choose the course and the subjects, then click submit.
