ABOUT THE INSTITUTION
Indira Gandhi National Open University has a lot of study centres in many countries across the world. It is not limited to India only but spread all over the world. In India, there are approx 1000 IGNOU study centres in different states to support every student when they need and it takes a lot of admissions every year.
IGNOU Khanna
In the month of April 2001, the Indira Gandhi National Open University established its regional centre in the state of Khanna. This regional centre was established after the regional centre in Karnal
The regional centre runs and has jurisdiction over both the traditional state of Panjab and the union territory of Chandigarh. Students can access additional information about the admission exam, how to apply, and how to make payment on the official website. Initially running 12 study centres, the Institute now successfully runs 46 study centres. Students can apply for online distance learning courses. The college offers a large number of online courses.
IGNOU Regional Centre, Khanna came into existence in April 2001 after the bifurcation of Karnal Regional Centre. The districts of Patiala, Roop Nagar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mohali and the UT of Chandigarh were shifted to RC Chandigarh. IGNOU July Session 2024 admissions are closing on August, 2024. Along with within the year 2009 it also formed another regional centre in Chandigarh. At first, the districts Patiyala, roop Nagar, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Mohali along with the UT of the city Chandigarh were modified to the regional centre of Chandigarh.

IGNOU Khanna Admission 2024-25

NOTE: Students must submit scanned copies of the following documents in addition to an identity document like an aadhar card when filling out the application forms: a transfer certificate, class 10 and 12 mark sheets, a character certificate, a community certificate, a degree certificate, and passport-size photos of the candidates. Each document must be properly cross-checked before submission because the authorities reserve the right to reject an application if there is any inconsistency with the documentation.
