The Indira Gandhi national open university started its regional centre in the state of Karnal in the year 1991. It has jurisdiction power in the state of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, and Haryana. The jurisdiction of this regional centre was changed several times. Although the current duration of the regional centre of Karnal covers the whole of Haryana it doesn’t cover the area of Gurgaon, Faridabad, Mewat, Palwal, Ambala along with Panchkula. The IGNOU university’s regional centre in Karnal began with 9 study centres, however as of right now, there are 30 learning support centres housed under this regional centre. This regional center’s major goal is to bring education to remote areas that are otherwise inaccessible. The faculty is also very helpful and gives the students the greatest education possible as well as real-world experience. IGNOU Karnal admission procedure
