About IGNOU Imphal – Imphal Regional Centre become functional on the 1st of December 2000. The end date of Re-registration in IGNOU is August 2024. The IGNOU study centre who are working since 1980 the Manipur university Study centre, Churachandpur college study centre, along with presidency college study centre earlier were functioning with the shilling regional centre later they come under the control of the Imphal regional centre. Many events had been celebrated in the regional centre some of the activities are, the celebration of Mother’s Language Day, and Tree plantation day held in August 2019. Awareness programmes and promotion activities to alert the candidates. Induction and Convocation Programmes are also held. As a part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Regional Centre Imphal has adopted two villages for development. Celebration of the International Yoga Day, 2019. In association and collaboration with Union Bank Of India, a camp was organised at Manipur University on 14th May 2018 where the candidates from IGNOU can open a zero balance account. Celebrated National Education Day on 11th November 2018 with a rally. One day Dissemination Programme on International Humanitarian Law was organised by IGNOU Regional Centre Imphal. Also, organised a 12days skill development programme for women inmates of Manipur Central Jail from 10th – 22nd October 2011. ADMISSIONS
The Indira Gandhi National Open University regional centre in Imphal, Manipur state, offers both an offline and an online admissions process. Interested candidates can easily apply using the IGNOU web portal of the IGNOU university regional centre IMPHAL’s online form of admission.
