About IGNOU AIZWL – IGNOU Regional Centre at Aizawl was activated in December 2000. The jurisdiction of the Regional Centre extends to the whole of Mizoram State. The Regional Centre started functioning with 9 (nine) Study Centres with its bifurcation from Regional Centre Shillong.

Admission Process
The Candidates can take admission into IGNOU university AIZAWL. By visiting the official web portal of the IGNOU university by choosing the AIZAWL regional centre. The candidates can apply through both online and offline procedures of admission. Candidates can enrol in UG, PG, and diploma programmes as well as other courses in a range of streams at the regional AIZAWL centre. They also provide the aspirant with study resources. The centre of the region is in Shillong. There is still opportunity for growth as the IGNOU AIZAWL regional centre now offers 50 courses to applicants. The regional office of AIZAWL, which works for the Mizoram government, nongovernmental organisations, and volunteer organisations, is housed in a five-story rental structure. The structure for the centre is situated halfway between the city and Aizawl.
