Meanwhile, after 3 years in 1988, this institute received an association from Bharathidasan University to provide postgraduate diploma programmes in computer applications. PRIST University Eligibility Criteria

Therefore all candidates have to understand the following criteria of the university.

UG Courses Admission in PRIST University:

B.Tech: Since students must have passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Physics/Biotechnology/technical vocational subject. Besides, students also have to qualify JEE Main or university entrance exam. All the courses are based on semester system.

SPECIALISATION IN:

B.Tech- Civil Engineering

B.Tech- Computer Science & Engineering

B.Tech- Electrical & Electronics Engineering

B.Arch: All the students need to be cleared either 10+2 or 10+ 3-year Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subjects with aggregate 50% marks.

Apart from this students have to qualify NATA or University entrance exam.

B.A (English). : The candidate must have passed the higher secondary examination with 50% of total marks.

B.Com: Since the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in their respective subjects.

BBA: The candidate must have cleared 10+2 examinations along with aggregate 40% marks.

BCA: The candidates must have cleared 10+2 examination or any other equivalent exam in their preferably subject either maths or business maths.

B.Sc.: firstly, The Candidate must have passed the higher secondary examination with 50% aggregate marks with their respective subjects according to their specialization.

PG Courses Admission in PRIST University:

M.Tech- Although, the Students must have a Bachelor degree in science with aggregate 50% marks.

Besides, students must have 10+2 examinations with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the chemistry/biology/biotechnology /technical vocational subjects with at least 45% marks.

Apart from this, candidates will be selected based on their GATE Score.

MBA: The students must have an undergraduate degree with 50% aggregate marks as per AICTE Norms. Moreover, students must have cleared either CAT exam or PRIST entrance exam.

MCA: The candidates must have Bachelor Degree in any discipline with aggregate 50% marks. Furthermore, students must have mathematics as compulsory in the higher secondary level.

M.Sc.: Since all students must have a bachelor degree in respective subjects along with students also have to clear the PRIST entrance exam.

M.Com: Although, students must have an undergraduate degree in commerce.

M.Ed.: Since, all students must have a bachelor degree in B.Ed., / B.A., B.Ed., / B.Sc., B.Ed., / B.EI.Ed. / D.EI.Ed. With a sum of 50% marks.

Ph.D. & M.Phil.: Although all students must have a master’s Degree with 55% aggregate marks along with also qualify University Research Exam.

The PRIST university also has a team of well experienced members to guide and train students so that they can get best of placements. The university has set past records for successfully giving good placement to 80% of their students every year. Even the minimum package of these placement starts from INR 1 Lakh.
