Ph.D.Admission

A candidate must have possessed a PG degree in the relevant subject. Candidates with GATE scores/NET JRF/SLET and M.Phil will be exempted from the entrance test for admission in Ph.D.

Admission:

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade provides training to the students in International trade and investment. For Indian candidates, the university provides admission on the basis of marks that you score in GD and PI while foreign candidates provide admission on the basis of applications. 

PG admission:

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade opens its application twice a year in the month of January and in the month of August. You need to fill out the application form for each program. INR 2500 will be submitted by MBA candidates at the time of filling the application form and INR 2000 by EPGDIB candidates. 

IIFT 2024 Admission Process:

IIFT Delhi admission process is merit-based admission system as well as entrance-based. For MBA, candidates need to clear IIFT entrance examination which is conducted by NTA on behalf of IIFT moreover other PG courses, admission is merit-based. For PhD, the admission is done on the basis of a written test and an interview conducted by the institute.

IIFT Delhi PG Application Process 2024

IIFT Delhi application process is the online process. The procedure of filling out the application form is totally online. They have to click on the New Registration. In this process, candidates have to fill in their mobile number and e-mail id details. After this, they will get login credentials. By using these login credentials candidates can fill the form. Candidates have to fill the online application form for the entrance exam from the official university website and pay the application fee of Rs 2,000 if they belong to General category and Rs 1,000 if candidates are from reserved category to apply for PG programmes.

IIFT PhD Application Process

IIFT PhD application process is available online as well as offline. The application process for full-time and part-time PhD course is the same.

Merit list:

The merit list of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is published on its website. You can download the merit list from the steps given below:

• You can find the link of downloading the merit list on the website of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade i.e. iift.nta.nic.in. and confirm your admission. 
• You need to enter your login details to download. 
• The merit list will be displayed on your screen. Now check your name on the merit list. 
• You should take a printout of merit for future use.

Counseling:

Candidates are shortlisted for selection on the basis of the merit list published on the website. 

The selection is done through written tests, Group discussions, and Personal Interviews.

For each round, different weightage will be given. The final selection is done on the basis of the overall performance of students in all rounds.
