Gujarat Vidyapith shall commence its admissions for the year 2024 via the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for both the Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs.

Gujarat Vidyapith was established by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920 and is a recognized deemed university. The university provides undergraduate, graduate, M.Phil, Ph.D., PGD, and certificate programmes. At the moment, Gujarat Vidyapith has 8 Faculties and several programmes ranging from Undergraduate to Ph.D. They are in the related fields of Gandhian studies, education, computer science and applications, rural management, science and applied sciences (biogas research, microbiology), languages, social and allied sciences (rural economics, history, and culture, social science), social work, journalism and mass communication, library science, physical education, and sports.

The Gujarat Vidyapith encourages the students in participating in community work, social service, community prayers, study tours, field studies, etc.
Gujarat Vidyapith conducts experiments and research in several domains of education.

The university provides library facilities to the students that help them in their studies. The university provides sports facilities to students. The students show a lot of enthusiasm and participation in the sports and cultural activities organized by the University. Playing sports is beneficial for the health of the students.

Gujarat Vidyapith MBA & MCA Admission 2024-25

Gujarat Vidyapith offers MBA course in Rural management specialisation for a period of two years. For this, the candidate must be a graduate of any discipline with a minimum of 45%.

The University offers MCA course which is a three-year program. In order to apply for this course, a candidate should have been a graduate with a minimum of 40% with Second class.

First thing candidate to remember is should clear the written objective test followed by Personal Interview and group discussion.

PG Admission procedure:

Gujarat Vidyapith offers PG courses like M.A, Msw and MSc. Additionally, it also offers PG degree in Library sciences and Physical education. 

• For M.A course, a candidate should have passed Graduation. Similarly, for MSW candidate should be a graduate. 
• For M.Ed. and M.P.Ed, candidates must have B.Ed and B.P.Ed respectively.
• Likewise, for M.sc Microbiology, the candidate should have completed B.sc Microbiology.
• Provided that, for PG admission, the candidate should attend Admission Test conducted by the University.

M.Phil & PhD Admission procedure:

The University offers a three-semester course in M.Phil and similarly in PhD too.

For M.phil, the candidate must remember that they should have a Master’s degree. Likewise, for PhD, the candidate should have a Master’s Degree/equivalent.

The Gujarat Vidyapith University opens the application form on the website for a limited time after that the university charges the late fees but for a limited time. All the students must have 75% attendance in order to sit in the examination.

• All the students shall practice self-discipline and attend the class regularly.
• Please maintain the dignity of the campus. If an aspirant found foul in the discipline manner then shall be duly punished as per rules.
• All the students have to be in discipline and behave properly.
• During the examination, the candidates using unfair means for writing the paper will be disqualified from the examination.
• A proper dress code (uniform) should be followed by each student in the university.
