Banda University of Agriculture and Technology (BUAT) Admission 2024-25: The BUAT is a state university established on 2nd March 2010 for agricultural education and things related to it. BUAT is placed in the Banda district in UP, India. It mainly helps the seven districts near Banda.  BUAT is ICAR and UGC affiliated. The center of attention is on complete research and development, the learning of agriculture, and its related sectors like horticulture, forestry, home science, animal and veterinary sciences. The university has been allocated a few duties by the government of UP like development and creating of the human resources, skills the people in agricultural technology, and diffusion to farmers and other workers.

The university is committed to the cause of Indian Agriculture through its quality of teaching, demand-driven and location-specific research and extension programmes on the basis of socio-economic and agro-ecological conditions and Government policies.

It offer courses under three faculties that deals in different areas i.e. College of Agriculture, College of Horticulture and College of Forestry.

 BUAT ADMISSION PROCESS

The candidates who are interested in studying agriculture and its related sectors can enroll for admission by filling the admission form from the online website. After filling the admission form, you need to deposit the fees. The candidates will get an admit card sometime before the exam, which they have to obtain a hard copy of, to show in the exam center before the exam.

If a candidate want to fill two or more separate form then he/she can fill and need to pay separate application fee for each course.

candidates are selected based on a merit list which is prepared by the university for both the undergraduates and postgraduates through the exam conducted by the college called UPCATET. The test is administered for four universities with the joint administration.

 BUAT PLACEMENT

BUAT has mainly centered on the development of the student’s personalities and their soft skills. Providing students with great internships every successive year. The University conducts counselling for students on regular basis. It also advises students about opportunities for further studies in India and abroad.

 BUAT SCHOLARSHIP

The university provides scholarships to students who can not afford the college fees. The College offers scholarships to lower-income groups of students and also to students who belong to scheduled caste or scheduled tribe categories. Students who score good marks through the merit list, the university also provides scholarships to them.

 BUAT RESULT

After the UPCATET is conducted, the university announces the merit list on its official website, which the candidates can go through. Go to the university’s official website, go to the results section, provide your application number and password, and get your result. If the candidate is selected they can then take out a hardcopy of their scores to show at the university counseling. Along with their other documents they have to go for the counseling sessions to the university wherein after submitting the fees; the candidates will officially become the student of BUAT. And they can begin their course from the starting date.
