IGNOU Trivandrum is located in Kollam, Trivandrum which belongs to the western part of India. The last date of Fresh Admission at IGNOU Trivandrum for the January 2024 session is APR 2024.<\/strong> The Regional Centre is located in areas of Kollam, Kerala, Pathanamthitta, Kanyakumari & Tuticorin regions too. In its journey for reaching the unreached, Indira Gandhi National Open University has established its Regional Centre at Thiruvananthapuram<\/em> in January 2009. Thiruvananthapuram in January 2009. IGNOU Trivandrum Regional Centre Achievements<\/span><\/h2>\n

Till now a lot of achievements had been done by the regional centre such as enrolment number increased by 48%, an increase in LSCs by 25%, an increase in revenue generation by the way of fee collection increased by 55%, the programmes ADCM & PGDCM developed in collaboration with HLL LIFE HEALTH CARE LTD. Also, developed a diploma in computer teacher training course, and with the Malankara Social Service Society collaboration, it developed a short-term training programme on skill development. Conducted induction meetings, convocations, and orientation programmes successfully. Moreover, it has organised two day National Seminar on open distance learning method, foundation stone laying ceremony was held for the Southern Zonal Campus where the chief guest was the honourable President of India Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil in the year 2011 31st August.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The IGNOU Trivandrum study centres are equipped with all the required support systems. There are 53 learning support centres, including 11 study centres, 10 special studies centres, and 32 programme centres. This regional centre was established in 2009 to help those in and around Trivandrum with their studies. The local population’s skills were to be improved by the acquisition of this IGNOU Trivandrum. This centre is highly known for the excellent results it generates and the successful careers of its graduates. The faculty members are highly qualified in each of their areas and have a strong desire to provide the applicants with the best education available. The children take part in a range of planned activities in a proactive manner.<\/p>\n

The Regional Centre offers 10 UG courses and 10 PG courses in a different specializations. The fees of the courses vary as per the courses chosen. The duration of the UG course is 3 years & PG course duration is 2 years. There are also some certificate courses & Advanced diploma courses as well. IGNOU Trivandrum has its learning centres with all support systems around it. It has around 53 Learning support centres which include 11 study centres, 10 special studies centres & 32 program centres.
