The IGNOU Regional Centre Shillong was established in the year 1988. Indira Gandhi national open university opens its another regional centre for providing education to candidates by distance along with open learning facility this regional centre was started in Shillong Meghalaya. The last date of Fresh-Admissions for both ODL and Online Programmes for the July 2024 Cycle has been extended up to 12th August 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

IGNOU Shillong<\/h2>\n

The regional centre provides Pre and Post admission counselling and proper guidance to\u00a0<\/span>the candidates. Secondly, the regional centre of Siliguri library is developed with new technology with proper internet connection and updated with modern study materials, reference books and so on. The candidates can use the library between 9:30 Am to 6:00 Pm. The last year’s question paper is also available in the library. The ‘information Kiosk’ is available in the regional centre for the candidates.\u00a0 The university opens its admission forms form twice a year. The students can apply in the month of January or in the month of July. The students have attached all the important documents with their admission forms which are mandatory by the university. After the admission process, the university issues an admit card. This regional centre is also known with the name of the northeast regional centre of IGNOU university s it covers the jurisdiction of the entire northeast region it possessing jurisdiction power over the rural and urban areas of seven sisters. The main aim of this regional centre is to provide education to the candidates in northeast places. Along with this regional centre is known as the older regional centre in the nation as well as this regional centre, of course, has learner support facility to all over northeast places.<\/span><\/p>\n

When it was first created in 1988, the IGNOU Regional Centre in Shillong had authority over the entire North East region of the nation. This regional centre, also known as the Northeast Regional Centre of IGNOU University, which is in charge of the entire northeast region, covers both the rural and urban regions of the Seven Sisters. The primary goal of this regional institution is to educate candidates in northeastern locations. In addition to being the oldest regional centre in the country, this one is well known for providing learner support services to sites all across the northeast.<\/p>\n
