About IGNOU Gangtok – <\/strong>IGNOU started functioning in Sikkim in 1989, much before the establishment of the Regional Centre Gangtok. The Regional Centre Gangtok was established in December 2000\u00a0 As like others the aim of this regional centre was to make aware the people with education. IGNOU Gangtok has 4 Regular Study Centres, 3 Special Study Centres & 1 Programme Study Centre. Admission to the university is granted based on merit. The form that was obtained from the university website can be filled out by the students who received honours on their exams. The same must be paid for, and students must turn in all necessary documents as specified by the university. Some courses require entrance tests, whilst for others, candidates are admitted directly into the university.<\/span><\/p>\n

Admission to IGNOU’s academic programmes is announced under January and July
cycles every year. IGNOU Gangtok July Session 2024 date has been extended to August, 2024.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

IGNOU Gangtok Admission procedure\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Candidates can use the twice-admission process offered by the IGNOU university to take advantage of the convenience of distance learning from the IGNOU regional centre in Gangtok and to quickly enrol in classes.<\/p>\n

People can choose the educational path they want to follow from the IGNOU regional centre in Gangtok while submitting an application for admission. The regional centre provides a variety of courses at the IGNOU university, such as certificate and diploma programmes, undergraduate and graduate programmes, as well as appreciation courses. The candidates can choose their courses and regional centre thanks to the amenities provided by the ignou university.<\/p>\n
