There are approximately 4 million students studying in this University.&nbsp; It has been declared as the largest Institution for higher education by UNESCO. It has been accredited with A++ grade by NAAC and have been approved by UGC. The admissions are taken in the form of 2 cycles conducted in the months of January and July. The admissions for the month of January are open and for the July session, the admissions have already been done as of now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The School of Extension and Development Studies (SOEDS) was established in 2007 with the aim to provide extension studies i.e. economic, social and human development by offering Certificate Diplomas, Post-Graduate Diploma and Degrees in the above subjects. The School of Extension and Development Studies&#8217; main objective was to offer top-notch education and training in various areas of extension and development studies, such as economic, social, and human development, by offering programmes leading to the award of Certificates, Diplomas, Post Graduate Diplomas, and Post-Graduate Degrees in pertinent subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master&#8217;s Degree:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Master of Arts in Development Studies (MADVS)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp; The main objective is to provide knowledge on various aspects of developmental studies and to develop in implementation, and formulation of various projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Duration:&nbsp; 2 years<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Eligibility: Fresh Graduates\/ Civil Servants\/ Employees of social institutions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Course Fee: Rs. 11,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Master of Arts in Extension &amp; Development Studies (MAEDS)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 The objective is to provide knowledge in the area of Extension and Development Studies and to enhance skills in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Duration: 2 years<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Eligibility: Graduate Candidates<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Course Fee: Rs. 9,000 for full course<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PG and Advanced Diploma:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PG Diploma in Animal Welfare (PGDAW)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 The objective is to provide science-based knowledge on animal welfare, ethics, and laws and to make them capable of taking social decisions on animal welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Duration: 1 year<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Eligibility: Any Graduate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Course Fee: Rs. 5,400<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2<\/strong>. The students have to fill out an application form which is released online on the official website itself.
